The Netherlands combines picturesque canal lined cities with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for touring teams.
From historic windmills and expansive countryside to the vibrant streets of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the country offers plenty to explore away from the pitch. Its excellent infrastructure and efficient transport links keep travel times short, allowing groups to maximize both sporting and leisure experiences!
Full Itinerary (Example):
DAY 1:
- Coach transportation from School/College to Dover for ferry crossing to Calais or Dunkirk.
- Travel on to Stayokay Hostel Eindhoven (or similar).
- Dinner.
- Overnight stay at the accommodation.
DAY 2:
- Breakfast at the accommodation.
- Morning pro training session 1.
- Own arrangements for lunch and free time in the afternoon.
- Transfer to Oranje-Rood HC or a local club for first friendly fixture, including dinner.
- Overnight stay at the accommodation.
DAY 3:
- Breakfast at the accommodation.
- Efteling Theme Park excursion.
- Transfer to an Amsterdam club or a local club for second friendly fixture, including dinner.
- Overnight stay at the accommodation.
DAY 4:
- Breakfast at the accommodation.
- Morning pro training session 2.
- Transfer to Kampong Hockey or a local club for third friendly fixture, including dinner.
- Overnight stay at the accommodation.
DAY 5:
- Breakfast at the accommodation.
- Check-out and return to the UK via Dunkirk/Calais for ferry crossing to Dover.
Package Includes
- Coach transportation from school/college to the Netherlands and throughout the stay from training to fixtures and included excursions.
- Return ferry crossing from Dover to Calais/Dunkirk, including a meal voucher per person per crossing.
- 4 nights' accommodation at Stayokay Hostel Eindhoven (or similar).
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided.
- 2 pro training sessions at a local club.
- 3 friendly fixtures per squad at a local club.
- Water provided at all fixtures & training sessions.
