Cricket Builds Hope Cup 2027 Tours
Cricket Builds Hope is a UK registered charity that uses cricket as a tool to carry out social change in Rwanda. Having constructed the Gahanga Cricket Stadium, they have run programmes that support female empowerment, youth development and access to education and are now investing in cricket facilities outside of the capital to increase access to cricket and development programmes.
The Cricket Builds Hope Cup 2027 is set to take place in Kigali, September 2027, bringing together teams from around the world for an incredible celebration of cricket, community, and positive social change. The trip combines matches at the iconic Gahanga Stadium, amazing safari excursions in the Land of a Thousand Hills and the chance to support programmes using cricket to change lives.
Itinerary.
Day 1:
- Arrive at the Kigali International airport.
- Check in at accommodation.
- Transfer to the Gahanga Cricket Stadium for warm up (lunch included).
- Beginning of tournament dinner.
- Transfer to accommodation.
Day 2:
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Game Day 1 at the Gahanga Cricket Stadium (with lunch included).
- Transfer to accommodation.
Day 3:
- Breakfast at accommodation.
- Game Day 2 at Gahanga Cricket Stadium (with lunch included).
- Transfer to accommodation.
- Travel to Akagera National Park or the Mountain Gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park (available on request).
Day 4:
- Big 5 at Akagera National Park or Mountain Gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park (available on request).
- Return to Kigali.
Day 5:
- Breakfast at accommodation.
- Coaching in the community.
- Transfer back to accommodation.
Day 6:
- Breakfast at accommodation.
- Game Day 3 at the Gahanga Cricket Stadium / Rwanda Polytechnic Cricket ground.
- Transfer back to accommodation.
- Transfer to the British High Commission for drinks.
- Transfer back to accommodation.
Day 7:
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Final Game Day 4 at the Gahanga Cricket Stadium.
- End of tournament dinner and awards.
Day 8:
- Breakfast at accommodation.
- Golf at Kigali Golf Resort and villas (available on request).
- Kigali City tour trip to the Genocide Memorial.
- Check out of accommodation.
- Transfer to Kigali international airport.
