The Rwanda Cricket Invitational

Join The Rwanda Cricket Invitational in the heart of Rwanda, Kigali.

The Rwanda Cricket Invitational, taking place from 18–25 September 2027, is set to be an unforgettable cricket experience, bringing teams together for competitive international fixtures, incedible wildlife and the opportunity to contribute to the growing game of cricket in Rwanda.

Teams will play quality fixtures with at least two matches at the iconic Gahanga International Cricket Stadium, one of the world’s leading venues for T20 international cricket. Beyond the fixtures, teams will have the opportunity to get involved in grassroots coaching and cricket development, supporting the next generation of Rwandan cricketers while gaining a deeper connection with the local game.

Away from the pitch, explore the beauty and culture of Rwanda, from the vibrant streets of Kigali to the country’s breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable wildlife on a Big Five safari in Akagera National Park.

The Rwanda Cricket Invitational brings together competitive cricket, meaningful community engagement and an authentic Rwandan adventure, creating an experience that goes far beyond the game.

What our customers say about us

"Excellent experience."

“It was my first time in Barbados and for me, it was a fantastic tour from start to finish! Superbly organised by Don Topley and his team, it provided the right balance between the cricket, organised events, socialising and personal relaxation time. Don's intimate knowledge of the island was a real plus with his island tour being an excellent experience. Well done Smile Group Travel!”

Pete Robson, Over 50s Cricket Festival
