Full Itinerary (Example):
DAY 1:
- Transfer to Manchester.
- Arrive in Manchester, where you will be greeted by an expert Smile Representative.
- Self-led training session at a local sports facility.
- Transfer to YHA Manchester (or similar) and check into the hostel.
- Dinner and overnight stay at YHA Manchester.
DAY 2:
- Breakfast at the hostel.
- Enjoy the morning at leisure and explore Manchester city centre and/or the surrounding area.
- Picnic lunch provided by YHA.
- Match Day 1 (rugby and netball) vs local school.
- Dinner and overnight stay at YHA Manchester.
DAY 3:
- Breakfast at the hostel.
- Morning at leisure.
- Picnic lunch provided by YHA.
- Shopping and sightseeing time in the city, with the option to watch a local sporting fixture (subject to dates).
- Dinner and overnight stay at YHA Manchester.
DAY 4:
- Breakfast at the hostel.
- Match Day 2 (rugby and netball) vs local school.
- Check out of the hostel.
- Spend the day at leisure before transferring back to your point of origin under your own arrangements.
Package Includes
- 3-night accommodation on a full-board basis at YHA Manchester (or similar).
- 3 breakfasts at the hostel, 3 lunches (packed or match lunches) and 3 dinners at the hostel or local restaurants.
- Time for shopping, sightseeing and the option to watch a local sporting fixture (subject to dates).
- 2 rugby fixtures per squad, with a referee.
- 2 netball fixtures per squad, with an umpire.
- 1 self-led training session at a local sports facility.
- Services of a local Smile representative in Manchester.
A minimum of 3 nights on a full-board basis (additional nights are available on request).
Ratio of 8 students to 1 staff member FOC (minimum of 32 students).
Transport: Self-drive – groups are responsible for their own transport to and from matches, training sessions and excursions.
